The Split 7 slider gets an upgrade
Just did a little upgrade to the slider, added some softer dolly track wheels and a high hat to allow for more angle adjustment. Feels pretty good, time to give it a little test.

C100 screen shots
We have been testing out the new Canon C100, and I have to say, the image quality is quite good. The resolving detail is razor sharp, and over exposed highlights dont have such a harsh video clipping look. And at high iso, the grain looks a lot more filmic, and not so digital pixel like. Canon Releases the C100
The C100 is the little brother to the C300 and C500. Estimated to cost around $8000 it uses a 4:2:0 color space and records at 25mbs a sec. The interesting thing is you can record from an unaltered HDMI signal to a external recorder. This should open up some of the options for higher [...]

Solid state drive on Mac Pro
I am currently upgrading my Mac pro to Mountain Lion with a solid state drive. This will give a ton of speed to the startup disk and applications. It’s a bit tricky, and required some custom parts. Want to know how I did it? Ask me here.
